Using First Class Email Remotely

Option 1:

You can access your First Class email at home by going to www.fortworthisd.org or the it.ftworth.isd.tenet.edu sites. Both of these sites contain Employee Access Email links. When you click on these links, you will be prompted to enter your username and password.

Option 2:

If you would like your home computer to run First Class like your computer at work, you will need to download the First Class client.

Go to the link below to download the client.

1. http://www.centrinity.com/clientdownloads/

2. You will need a Windows Pentium or Mac Power PC

3. Your User Name (Usually your first initial plus the first four letters of your last name or your first initial plus your entire last name.)

Example: jsmit or jsmith (for Jim Smith)

4. Your password, which is initially the same as your user name.

  6. Once you have installed the software, you should be at the login screen. (If not, double-click the First Class shortcut.)

  13. To change your password, use the "Connection" menu. Choose "change password". Type your old password, followed by the new one in the second and third box. Click "OK" and your password is changed. Don't lose your password.
