I printed this puzzle on cover stock, but I found I still needed to glue it to heavier cardboard. Since I had already laminated it, I used spray adhesive. I used a box cutter to cut the puzzle out along the lines. If you want students to do this activity, you will need to stick with the lighter weight cardboard that will cut with scissors. Tip Keep a Picture of the Puzzle before it is cut up!

I copied that drawing to a transparency then I ran my picture through the copier and printed the transparency puzzle pieces on the back. I laminated the picture and the cut out all the pieces. I realized I could have left out the transparency step, but the original plan was to run that page on the top of the picture, but that didn’t work. It is cheaper that using the pre-cut puzzles.
