"On This Date" Newspaper
The activity used the dMarie time capsule web site. The students were given a Word fill-in form template and they had to fill in information about the day and year they were born. They looked for things like “top song”, prices of bread and gas and popular televsion shows and toys. The filled in forms were printed and then reprinted on the copier using a newsprint-like parchment paper. The students were took their newspapers home has an end of the year artifact.
